Modified Silicon Fuzz Face Circuit
At its core is a modified silicon Fuzz Face circuit, carefully tuned to behave like a vintage germanium unit. The result is a fuzz that cleans up naturally when you roll back your guitar's volume, retaining clarity, articulation, and top-end sparkle.
BIAS Toggle Switch
The BIAS toggle switch provides additional tonal flexibility, letting you shift between a full, smooth fuzz and a tighter, gated, spitty texture. This makes the GLUON well-suited for classic rock, blues, or experimental textures, giving you a versatile fuzz that responds to your touch and your guitar.
Signal Chain Placement
Like all classic fuzz circuits, the GLUON is designed to be placed first in your signal chain, directly after your guitar. Its low-impedance input interacts with your pickups to deliver the full dynamic range and cleanup response the circuit was designed for.

NOS Texas Instruments BC183
The BC183 silicon transistor is a "holy grail" component for many guitarists because it bridges the gap between the warmth of germanium and the stability of silicon. Often described as the "softest" sounding silicon transistor, it provides a smoother, more "violin-like" sustain than the harsher BC108 or BC109. This makes it the ideal choice for fuzz circuits that clean up naturally with your guitar's volume knob.
